The SM451 is a high precision multi-functional placement system equipped with high precision force control heads. Based on the SM421 platform it's highly reliable. Linear scale have been added to the X-Y axis to improve placement accuracy.
Basically, it can be applied to various odd-shaped parts from 01005 fine chips to 57 x 42 mm IC parts, long connectors, bare chips and PIP insert parts. In addition, it also allows placement of special parts by providing gripper nozzles and supports the functions for part height adjustment of up to 28 mm, applicability to POP, lead lift-off check, and rear side reflection recognition.
