Samsung Flexible Chipshooter Installation

First Samsung SM481, ten head flexible chipshooter installed today.  This is the first machine in the UK and also in Europe, first of many!!

Replacing an aging machine, the SM481 has given this customer almost 50% increase in capacity with the SM481 alone placing close to 20k cph.

The SM481 is capable of placing 01005 components as standard and up to 16mm square components on the fly by using vision cameras.  No need to move to seperate vision cameras for alignment.

Optional upward looking cameras can be added later to add flexibility.  The SM481 is the sister machine of the 471 bigger brother which has two gantries each with 10 heads achieving 75k cph optimum.
